Waterproof chemical labels

I use waterproof polyester labels which do not get effected by water and they come off in one piece if you want to change them
I get them from label planet and print on a standard photocopier:

A nice professional approach Peter. I myself just print out the label and place cellotape on top. They remain waterproof. I've used you Sodium Thiosulfate label for the Arrenhius Experiment next week. Glad to see that you've put the "f" in Thiosulfate.

Waterproof, colour and easy to remove along with all the adhesive - no brainer

Cheaper options on reagent bottles that may be placed in a waterbath is to melt wax and paint over the label it dries clear and stays on the bottle for years.

I just use book covering plastic over printed labels similar to the ones you have shown - I like your idea of school logo though - may ask my teachers if they like the idea too.

If you are careful using a scalpel to lift one edge and don't get dust on the sticky bits - I find it not worth the hassle and just use new ones

Hi Peter, what are they like when they have been on the bottles for a long time? do they still peel off easily without leaving a residue?
Also you just photocopy them?

Yes they are easy to remove and put the A4 label sheet in the tray instead of ordinary printer paper (have run test to make sure right way up). Normal laser printer/photocopier. Has to be laser to make sure waterproof
