Not sure how to post about this without doxxing myself, but I'm super proud of what I've done. I put on an Edinburgh Fringe show for a week https://www.edfringe.com/tickets/whats-on/rainbows that consisted of chemistry, physics, and rocks. I got two reviews, one 3-star ( https://theweereview.com/review/rainbows/ ) and one 4-star ( https://countercultureuk.com/2026/08/28/science-colour-and-wonder-in-a-charming-fringe-hour/ ). The 3-star review was earlier and its positivity kept me enthusiastic while its negativity really helped me improve the show, the 4 was a nice cap that I only found out about today. I also got a friend in the audience to film one of my demos (the rainbow connection), which is nice. While I was up there I also did a few 5-minute spots where I did stuff like explain Lenz's law and talk about rocks (NZ nephrite's my favourite)
Plus I'm TTO + 3 weeks as of yesterday, so maybe I can afford the financial black hole that is a fringe show.
