There are some physics videos on the CLEAPSS YouTube channel

I think I have also used some from the Institute of Physics

When you want to go a bit further most US Universities put their lectures online, I know MIT puts all of theirs online and it is a much better University than Sheldon makes out. Please access MIT lectures through their own channel though, they deserve the clicks.

I used the videos from Malmsbury science to learn how to set up the required practicals. They really explained what was going on and showed where to put the leads. Which is sometimes all we need to know. ;)

I don't recommend following their setup for the vibration generator for wave on a string. They hang the weight off the stem of the vibration generator. To extend the life of the vibration generator it should run freely through the stem to a fixed point. (I put a loop end over a clamp stand clamped to the bench, the other end over a bench pulley.

I stretch a string between two retort stands, put croc-clips on the Vibrator and clip it onto the string. No 'Shear' force on the Vibrator stem.
