#TECHOGNITION merchandise

We've started thinking about our next #TECHOGNITION event, likely to be in March 2019.
Last year the badges and stickers went down really well!
So we are asking you what #TECHOGNITION branded merchandise would you like to see this time around???

Something with a purpose that's useful on the job (e.g. a set of mini screwdrivers or a lanyard that will hold keys, etc.) with the techognition branding?

A mug?

Maybe a door sticker/sign that can be customised when we get it with the names of the resident techs (so pupils actually know who they are asking for when they're sent to the prep room!)

I've had my name (and qualifications) on my door for years. Mini screwdrivers are useful but you can by a set for £1. We are advised not to attach Keys to our Lanyards as someone was driving with Keys on the Lanyard and the Keys punctured their Lung when she came to an abrupt stop.:);)

Ouch! I don't drive in my lanyards though. If I take them home I'll only leave them there by accident, so they live in my drawer when I'm not here. ;)

Would one of those key holders that attaches to one's pocket or belt hook be more useful for your dept George? :)

I'm just adding mine around my lanyard, also a lone tech!

Admittedly I don't keep my keys on a lanyard around my neck because the clinking drives me nuts!

I'm used to it, but I do have separate lanyards for keys/gadgets and name badge, so if I know I don't need the keys or I'm going somewhere quiet I can take it off and be in 'stealth mode'.
 
Dump the badges,poster and stickers. Not one person the school commented on any of them. No impact at all.

To reach out to the masses (not just to education) an advert in something like the Metro newspaper although I have no idea the cost!!!

The problem is we don't cater for FE technicians or art, technology, food technicians etc and the funding for #Techognition is aimed at recognising the role of secondary school science technicians so we kind of have to keep the "school" part even though some science techs here work at a college or have other titles. There's no real way to say "science technicians who work in schools and colleges who support secondary and A-Level (11-18) education" in a more concise phrase.

Science technicians in education/Educational science technicians?
EDIT; (I realise you don't include FE but that phrase would make most people think 'schools and colleges'; university technicians deal in research too and would probably come under that label)

WOW. How about postage stamp size?

Posters on trains/bus stops...probably too costly though. Badges and posters reach a very limited audience and as I have said have little impact.
 
I do like the idea of badges, though I am being a little bot biased as I collect badges.
I feel that the merch needs to be stuff that will be seen, so I would go with: badges, lanyards, stickers or balloons
