we bought silicon rubber trays for 10mm cubes, never had to smash ice ever again.
I bought an ice crusher from amazon for the edexcel gcse req prac with ice, we also have a small countertop ice machine.I don't but they still ask for it...Grrr.
We have an Ice maker but sometimes we need an ice slurry. I picked up an old skool metal, meat mincer, from a charity shop for a quid.We used to use all sorts of bags for breaking up ice, usually resulted in breaking up bag too. I bought a few nylon PE bags, work a treat.
A little thing, but handy.
Bashing it works out some frustrations though! We have an Ice maker but sometimes we need an ice slurry. I picked up an old skool metal, meat mincer, from a charity shop for a quid.
I love my ice machine and ice crusher, saves so much time. I'd love an ice machine for home.We bought a crushed ice maker from Germany. Only makes about an ice bucket full at a time but quick and more than enough. Only £600 and money well spent as it saves so much flying ice. Also means I can grab it quickly when I forget the ice as usual.
