Science Club Resources

Anyone know of a good website which has a bank of fun, short, simple (<30 mins) science club activities they wish to share? Preferably with worksheets/powerpoints?

Wondered that if there were any hidden gems out there, this would be the place to ask.

STEM club here next week will be burning Marhmallows, Jelly Babies, Glace Cherries etc to heat test tubes of water, calculating the energy released, comparing to the information on the packets and discussing where the difference will have come from

We did this with peanuts at school back in the 80s, but too many allergies these days

Thanks for the ideas, really good stuff.

@prepAdmin would it be worth collating these links and having some sort of "bank" or pinned topic that people can keep contributing to expand?

We do have an extensive directory of links here: https://www.preproom.org/preproom-directory/
Also if you search "science club" *search titles only* there are hundreds of posts and links on the subject.

If we pin a thread then people just start another one and it also clogs up the top of the boards.
I think the best thing to do is encourage members to do a quick search before starting a new topic as these boards have been open now for 9 years so pretty much every topic is already covered somewhere! ;)

Ahh I didn't check the titles only, that's why it was all scattered and then decided to start this thread. Oh well, bit of extra spam never killed anyone.
