Out of the Loop

I have an email filter that looks for the phrases "all staff" and "whole school".

Sends them to a separate folder that I can look at in my own time, rather than bothering me with notifications that have nothing to do with me.
I've taken to responding with "do you mean all staff or just teachers?"

It can be as bad the other way when you're included in emails and shouldn't be. For example "all staff must attend this meeting" and you turn up to find out it was only for teachers and is a total waste of your time.
definitely - I have learnt to use my common sense on these one and my manager is fine with it. if I am not sure I check

We email the relevant person to clarify.
