How the h*ll did they do that?

Try long forceps, the type I thinks many of us have for handling radioactive sources. But how they managed to get it down there in the first place.....o_O

Dammit man! I'm a technician, not a magician!
Can't you unscrew the eyepiece from the base and get it out/push it from the other end?

The same way they manage to get boiling tube sized rubber bungs down plugholes that are only wide enough for a biro...
Oh we have the lovely density of irregular objects at the moment. So we have to supply a variety of objects that have to be carefully screened so they only fit in one size of measuring cylinder and "can't" be wedged into a smaller size.

Yesterday a child cooked a thermometer in a Bunsen.
The kid next to them had their goggles on their head, not on their face.
A&E trip later and thankfully they are fine and got they got the glass out of their eye.
My mother always used to say, 'If you can't do anything right in life, at least you can act as the example'.

Ooops! Glad this was a happy ending and hopefully that class at least will start wearing their goggles!
