Well, the time has come. On the 31st August, I am finishing as a science technician and starting my teacher training. There have been ups and downs in the job but the one constant was the support I always got from the people using Preproom. A huge thank you to you all, for the laughs, the advice and the support. Good luck to all of you and enjoy your summer

have you always hankered for a bit of school teaching or has it come around after working in a school? (it's had the opposite effect on me)

I did a bit of cover work and youth tutoring throughout my PhD and the plan was to teach in universities or colleges....didn't pan out due to personal situation changes, but I am happier going in to schools having spent the last 3 years in one
