Fancy a laugh?

I am new to this role, I started in January. The egg in water, in a glass jar has been requested for today.
So I set it up ready. The teacher came up to check she had definitely requested it, and I said yes it's all ready and pointed to it.
Turns out, the egg is meant to stay in the shell! I wasn't meant to crack it into the water !
They've all had a good laugh, and I'm going to make a note in the folder saying KEEP IN SHELL!!!
At least it's cheered everyone up!

Do you crack the egg or keep it shelled?

we use to do this in Reproduction topic with year 7 but had one hard boiled egg, and one raw , both in water in zip lock bags and then dropped them over a tray and usually the hard boiled (with help of being wrapped in sellotape) stayed whole and one broke.

That's a good idea!
