Decent Lab Rules Posters

I am looking to buy some laboratory rules posters for our classrooms - something bright, eye-catching and that makes sense without being too wordy.

Do you guys have anything you would recommend?

That's usually a class induction activity;
Safety in the Lab: discuss & create a poster,
(after which, less is more)

We just use the CLEAPSS rules on a poster.

Don't think we can share them.
Thank you, Paul - we have those at the moment.

I think that people stop reading them after a while, they are quite wordy.

I was hoping for something a bit more colourful, with snappy wording, a bit like Purple Cat's initial suggestion mixed with the CLEAPSS wording - with a bit of adjustment.

I have had a look at posters with the usual suppliers which are OK, yet not quite what I am after.

I may just tart up the CLEAPSS poster with some graphics!!

I made a mini 'lab rules' booklet to give to the students on the 1st day. It basically gives general rules of the lab as well as specifics for each of Chem/Bio/Phys [e.g. using conc acids/microbiology]. There are interactive bits such as 'spot the hazard' pictures and spaces for them to write up their own risk assessments with aid from the teacher during practicals - that way every time they do a practical they have to get out their lab rules booklet to jot down risks.

it's the previous marketing managers format in indesign.

People stop reading everything after a while, you ignore adverts or they are distracting and kids get told off for not SLANTing.

We had a poster in the research workshop at the University. It was just straight on portrait, until you looked closer, then you saw the nail head in the eye ball! Mmm, nice!
