Creating an Event

Anyone belonging to a Group is able to post an event on the Group calendar.
To do this, click the Events tab and then the "Create and Event" button...

This will take you to the following page where you can add details of the event and set a time and date for it.
The Event Type settings are not important here as Group privacy settings override these and so anyone within the Group is able to see the event if the Group it set as Closed.
Leave the "Public" setting ticked.

Once changes have been saved, your event will appear in list view under the Events tab...

For a Calendar view events, click the "Calendar" option next to "List".
