cant find these Gas restrictors on Arboles web site , when you said Tap did you mean we have to cut a thread inside the gas tapsI used to have restrictors when l was in London.
Arboles is the company to help here.
You can "tap" the nozzle to makea thread inside and the little restrictors are fitted using an Alan key.
It means the children can't cause any problems.
Arboles will help.
They supply the restrictions.
Good news Our gas taps were supplied by Arboles in 2014 so there all (140 taps) Threaded in there nosels so we just need 5mm Hex Grub screws from ebay all sorted for £20 !!!! thanks for the heads up BruceHi
You may need to ask over the phone for the restrictors.
When l got it done about 20 years ago the company were developing the idea.
When you buy the gas taps these restrictors are probably already fitted.
The company owner came and fitted the restrictors to my existing nozzles by cutting a thread as you say.
It could be l was lucky as l was part of their R&D and nowadays perhaps the restrictors are only available as a part of their product range.
Sorry to confuse you.
The idea really was very successful in practice.
When l went round checking-up with the allan key, l had to be careful to make sure no-one was looking or the secret was out.
An enterprising protagonist may bring in to school their own allan key for further ['extension'] laboratory experiments.
hth.
I think it's quicker to unblock a couple then unscrew an Allen bolt each time.Good news Our gas taps were supplied by Arboles in 2014 so there all (140 taps) Threaded in there nosels so we just need 5mm Hex Grub screws from ebay all sorted for £20 !!!! thanks for the heads up Bruce
