Just got told despite the kids leaving at 12 the staff are in till the normal Friday time of 14:30 (potentially later as the last half hour is a meeting/leaving speeches). Literally crawling to the finish line at this point.

I have managed to procrastinate tidying up the prep room all week by colour coding most of the lab equipment in each lab (not glassware) which I really didn't think I'd get done in time!
 
Oh that's awful, I hate schools that drag it out til the final minute... we are here until 1 but knowing this lot it'll be near 2 by the time they finish their speeches :bored: it's been an 8 week term here and I've never been so ready to see the back of this place!
 
Our kids leave at 12:10, but we have to do the "community walk" (i.e. make sure the kids are heading home and not causing trouble in the community :rolleyes::laughing:), then we have the staff BBQ and leaving speeches, so I'll probably get out around 2-2:30. Counting down the hours! :laughing:

Oh communtiy walk love it, better not mention that at our place!
 
I was told on Friday I've already been marked as "left" and therefore I'll potentially lose access to everything ... nooooo ... I work 52 weeks and don't finish until 31st August!
Hopefully it's been sorted today, cross fingers, salt over the shoulder, tip hat to a magpie, avoid all black cats ...
