    Retirement - In the main. I may look for 2 days a week in my local town - not in any sort of school whatsoever though!! But, not until I restore me to my former self and sort out the many issues going on with my terminally ill Dad.

    boiling copper pennies in zinc and NaOH, rinsing off the residue - this turns the pennies silver. Then put them into a 'Bunsen flame and they turn gold in colour! the kids love it.

    gold coins. we do it for year 5 taster days every year and they love it. We also did it during lock down with the vulnerable / key worker's kids.

    if it is full of limescale, bungs some acid in it and then neutralise it, or rinse until it's neutral pH.

    I used to have a stainless steal bar of "soap" - I bought it in Lakeland (other kitchen shops are available) it worked rather well

    I believe that it's not a swear word in certain parts of the country, Scotland and some parts of "darn sarf" it's the same as twit. And there's a place in Scotland actually called tw@tt. different :D spelling. My friend is from Northern Ireland and they have a diving centre in Muff!!!
